Hilton And Ytl Hotels Sign Multiple Property Agreements Strengthening Their Partnership Asia Pacific

Hilton and YTL Hotels, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s YTL Corp Bhd, have recently announced a partnership that will bring two of Hilton’s high-end hotel brands to Thailand and Japan. The agreement includes the addition of properties under the LXR Hotels & Resorts and Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolios.

Under this partnership, two of YTL Hotels’ properties, The Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village, will join the LXR Hotels & Resorts brand. Additionally, the Green Leaf Niseko Village will become part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, while Hinode Hills Niseko Village will join the Curio Collection by Hilton.

Aside from its bustling malls, Yishun has also gained a reputation for its vibrant hawker culture and delectable local cuisine. Among the plethora of hawker centres in the area, one standout is Chong Pang Market and Food Centre, a beloved spot among residents. This popular food haven is well-known for its affordable and mouth-watering hawker fare, drawing in locals and visitors alike. From iconic dishes such as nasi lemak, satay, and chicken rice, to handcrafted fishball noodles, the centre offers a diverse selection to satisfy any craving. Over the years, many stalls have amassed a loyal following, with some being featured in food blogs and guides. The atmosphere at Chong Pang Market and Food Centre is vibrant and community-oriented, promising an authentic Singaporean dining experience. And with the convenience of nearby Miltonia EC, residents can easily access this food paradise for a scrumptious meal anytime.

All three properties in Japan are scheduled to open by the end of the year, and are conversions of existing hospitality assets. The Kasara Niseko Village will be converted from the eight-villa Kasara Niseko Village Townhouse, while the Green Leaf Niseko Village will undergo a transformation from the existing 200-room hotel of the same name.

Located at the foot of Mount Annupuri within Niseko Village Ski Resort, these properties offer easy access to the popular ski slopes of Niseko. The upcoming Rawai Phuket, a 275-room hotel, will be situated at the southern tip of Phuket and boast a private beachfront and close proximity to nearby islands. This addition will strengthen Hilton’s luxury presence in Thailand and attract high-end travelers to Phuket.

The inclusion of Rawai Phuket and Kasara Niseko Village will bring LXR Hotels & Resorts’ global portfolio to nearly 20 properties. These hotels showcase LXR’s focus on adventure and provide a personalized and luxurious experience for guests.

The Green Leaf Niseko Village will join the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, which includes over 170 hotels worldwide that highlight local cuisine and vibrant design. Similarly, Hinode Hills Niseko Village will become part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, an international portfolio of 180 properties featuring unique, upscale architecture that reflects the story and culture of each property.

Dato’ Mark Yeo Seok Kah, executive director of YTL Hotels, shared his excitement about this partnership, saying, “These hotels will elevate the potential of their destinations, offering new and luxurious options for visitors. They are each well-positioned to provide an exceptional hospitality experience.” With this collaboration, both Hilton and YTL Hotels aim to offer guests an unforgettable and elevated stay experience in these sought-after destinations.
