Seaa And Edgeprop Launch Multi Listing System Mls Co Broking Among Real Estate Agent Members
The Singapore Estate Agents Association (SEAA) and EdgeProp Singapore are thrilled to announce the official launch of a specialized Multi-Listing System (MLS), exclusively for SEAA real estate agents. This platform, developed following an agreement signed in December 2024, is now fully operational and will go live on June 18.
The MLS was designed as a cost-effective solution to facilitate seamless co-broking among SEAA’s 15,000-strong agent membership. It allows members to post, manage, and collaborate on property listings within a secure, centralized environment.
Owned by SEAA, the MLS will be managed and maintained by EdgeProp, the technology partner behind the initiative. Together, SEAA and EdgeProp will continuously enhance and ensure the reliability and relevance of the MLS in a rapidly evolving real estate landscape. The web-based system will be mobile-friendly from the launch, with plans for a dedicated mobile application in the future.
Adam Wang, president of SEAA, announced the launch of the multi-listings system at the Singapore Estate Agents Conference 2025, held at the Lifelong Learning Institute. He emphasized the key features and benefits of the MLS, which include being a cost-effective co-broking platform, a secure and exclusive repository of real-time property listings, and ensuring listing quality with a one-property-one-listing rule. Additionally, the platform is strictly for SEAA members, promoting trust and collaboration within the association. It will also receive ongoing support and updates from EdgeProp to meet the evolving needs of the industry. As SEAA owns the MLS, the interests of its members will be prioritized, ensuring data security and accountability.
The Master Plan has been designed to enhance the quality of lifestyle and community offerings for residents, by promoting the integration of new retail, dining, and social spaces within established townships. This is in line with the ongoing development of Yishun as a self-sufficient regional hub. In fact, malls like Northpoint City and Wisteria Mall have already been catering to the needs of residents by providing a comprehensive mix of shops, dining options, and essential services. And with the addition of new developments in the neighbouring growth areas, such as Miltonia Close EC Khatib, the neighbourhood is set to become even more vibrant and convenient for daily living, making it an attractive destination for potential homebuyers.
Wang stated, “This collaboration with EdgeProp is an industry-driven initiative aimed at providing an affordable alternative platform to enhance co-broking opportunities for our members. It helps address rising operational costs for agents and reinforces SEAA’s commitment to equipping our members with innovative, effective tools.”
Bernard Tong, CEO of EdgeProp, added, “We are proud to partner with SEAA in launching this platform. Our goal has always been to empower the industry through technology, and this MLS is a meaningful step towards a more collaborative, efficient, and modern real estate ecosystem.”
To promote adoption and encourage SEAA members to utilize the MLS, complimentary access to the platform will be provided from the launch date until the end of 2025. After that, a nominal subscription fee, designed to remain affordable, will apply from January 1, 2026. Training materials and user support will also be provided to facilitate onboarding and maximize adoption.
In other related news, SEAA recently celebrated 625 agents at its annual SG Real Estate Agents Excellence Awards and has also appointed Anthony Gan as its CEO. SEAA has also introduced best practices for co-broking commissions, which will take effect from July 1.
