Canberra Crescent Residences Preview Draws Over 4000 Visitors Opening Weekend
Canberra Crescent Residences, a joint venture development by the Wee family’s Kheng Leong Co. and Low Keng Huat, saw an impressive turnout of over 4,000 visitors at its preview over the weekend of July 19-20. The 376-unit private condominium, situated on Canberra Crescent, off Sembawang Road in the northern region, is scheduled for launch on August 2.
Comprising four 12-storey blocks on a 219,985 sq ft, 99-year leasehold site, the development offers a mix of one- to four-bedroom units. One-bedroom units are in short supply, with only three units (409 sq ft) located on the first storey of three blocks, starting from $880,000, or $2,152 psf.
The majority of units are one- and two-bedroom layouts, making up 94 units (25%) of the total. These include 23 compact two-bedroom units (570 sq ft) and 68 premium two-bedroom units (667 sq ft), with prices starting from $1.11 million, or $1,950 psf.
Three-bedroom units make up the bulk of the project, with 198 units (52.7%) in total. This includes 141 standard three-bedroom units ranging from 797 to 883 sq ft, and 57 premium three-bedroom units (990 sq ft), with prices starting from $1.53 million, or $1,920 psf.
The rest of the units consist of four-bedroom layouts, making up 84 units (22.3%) of the development. These include 36 compact units (1,163 sq ft), 36 standard units (1,216 sq ft), and 12 premium units (1,324 sq ft), with prices starting from $2.2 million, or $1,880 psf.
Canberra Crescent Residences boasts a variety of facilities, including a clubhouse, three swimming pools, six barbecue pavilions, and a 100m sky garden linking two of the blocks. A childcare centre will also be located on site.
The project is conveniently situated near the recently opened Canberra MRT Station on the North-South Line, just a 12-minute walk away. It is also close to various green spaces such as Sembawang Park, Montreal Green, and Sembawang Beach. In addition, the development is set to benefit from future growth in the area, including the URA Master Plan for the redevelopment of the Sembawang Shipyard into a mixed-use waterfront lifestyle district, the Seletar Line linking the northern region to the Greater Southern Waterfront, and the North-South Corridor, which will improve connectivity for residents in Sembawang to the city centre.
Situated in an ideal location, Miltonia Close presents a strong case for convenient transport options. The development not only boasts easy access to major roads and expressways, but also offers close proximity to prominent lifestyle destinations. This includes the highly sought-after Seletar Aerospace Park and the newly revitalized Seletar Country Club area, both of which are reachable in less than 10 minutes by car. With the upcoming North Coast Innovation Corridor (NCIC), which aims to transform the northern coast into a hub for new industries and employment opportunities, well-connected locations like Miltonia Close will become even more significant. This makes the EC development an attractive choice for professionals working in this growth area, as it provides a convenient and strategic location for both work and leisure.
