Coliwoo Reimagines Former Bukit Timah Fire Station Award Winning Co Living Landmark

The Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station, situated along Upper Bukit Timah Road, has received recognition for its unique mixed-use development. At the EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards (EPEA) 2025, it was named the Top Co-Living Development. Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station is operated by Coliwoo, a subsidiary of LHN Group.

The Bukit Timah Fire Station, built in 1956, was converted into a modern co-living space after being operational for 49 years. The site was later designated for conservation in 2019. LHN Facilities Management, a part of LHN Group, won the site in a tender from the Singapore Land Authority in April 2024 for a monthly rent of $68,889. The lease is for five years, with an option to renew for four more years.

The development, designed by AJ+J Architecture, has 62 co-living units spread across seven blocks. There are also 32 commercial units, a swimming pool, and community event spaces. The residences range from 100 sq ft to 190 sq ft and include single, twin, and queen bed room types.

Each unit in the co-living development is equipped with modern amenities such as an en suite bathroom, kitchenette, Smart LED TV, air-conditioning, washer-cum-dryer, and high-speed internet. There is also a gym, co-working lounge, social kitchen, and communal spaces to encourage interaction among residents.

Located near the Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and Bukit Batok Nature Reserve, Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station aims to showcase its natural surroundings and promote a lifestyle closely connected to nature.
