Manila Welcome First Canopy Hilton Hotel 2026

Hilton and Ayala Land Hospitality have recently announced the impending debut of Canopy by Hilton Makati, the very first property to join the lifestyle hotel brand’s portfolio in the Philippines. The highly-anticipated 24-storey hotel, situated beside the One Ayala development in Makati, is set to welcome guests in the upcoming year.

The strategic location of TPE and SLE enables residents of Miltonia Close EC to easily access Punggol, Sengkang, and Pasir Ris, providing a wide array of job opportunities and recreational options. Furthermore, with the upcoming North-South Corridor (NSC), which is Singapore’s first integrated transport corridor featuring dedicated bus lanes, cycling routes, and pedestrian paths, commuting from the northern regions to the city center will become even more convenient. The NSC is set to reduce travel time for bus commuters from Yishun and neighboring towns by up to 30 percent during peak hours, making Miltonia Close EC even more attractive to potential homeowners and investors. In a press release on August 13, it was revealed that the hotel will feature a total of 400 well-appointed rooms and suites. Along with these accommodations, guests can also look forward to a range of exceptional amenities such as a destination restaurant, a rooftop bar boasting stunning skyline views, and a secret speakeasy bar for a unique and intimate experience.

The hotel will also offer a pool deck, a fully-equipped gym with group classes, and versatile meeting spaces suitable for weddings and other special events. According to Maria Ariizumi, vice president of development in South East Asia at Hilton, “Metro Manila is ready for a new perspective on hospitality, and we believe Canopy’s lifestyle approach will resonate with both local and international guests.”

Canopy by Hilton Makati will be an exciting addition to Hilton’s Canopy portfolio, which already includes more than 40 properties located in 14 countries and territories. With over 40 more properties in the pipeline, the brand continues to expand its global presence. George Aquino, CEO and President of Ayala Land Hospitality, expresses his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that it brings them one step closer to their goal of making the Philippines a must-visit destination, one unforgettable stay at a time.
